Students Shape Up For Einstein Year

Physics students at Dublin City University took a break from the usual lecture format to spell out the most famous equation of all time, E=MC².

On 27th September 1905, Einstein's remarkable paper on special relativity was published, changing our understanding of the universe forever. 100 years later students at Dublin City University celebrated this breakthrough theory of space and time by spelling out the most famous equation of all time - with their own bodies.

Einstein's Miracle Year of 1905 saw him produce a further two papers on the Photoelectric effect and Brownian motion. Einstein's theories provide the building blocks for modern physics and he did all this at the age of 26!
