The Primary Aim is:
βTo enthuse young people, and those who influence them, about physics whilst building a sustainable increase in public awareness of physics and its role in society.β
Einstein Year is all about getting young people excited about physics, exploding the myth that physicists are white, middle-aged men with mad hair, and highlighting the huge contribution of contemporary physics to society.

All the activities and events during Einstein Year will be aimed at achieving these ambitious objectives as well as raising the profile of physics in the media and among policy makers in science and education.
